Probus Village Hall is a community hall run by a committee of volunteers. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it and what your rights are.

What we collect and why

• Contact form: your name, email address and message, so that we can reply to your enquiry.

• Bookings: bookings are made through Hallmaster, our online booking system. Hallmaster collects the details needed to manage your booking, and its own privacy policy applies to that information.

• Cookies and website statistics: our website provider, Squarespace, uses essential cookies to make the site work. With your consent, it also uses analytics cookies to tell us how the site is used. You can accept or decline these when you first visit, and change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences button.

How we use your information

We only use your information to answer your enquiry and to manage hall bookings. We do not sell it or share it with anyone for marketing.

Who else handles it

Our website and contact form are hosted by Squarespace, our email is provided by Microsoft 365, and bookings are handled by Hallmaster. These companies process information on our behalf.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails and booking information only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry or booking and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. To do this, please email the Lettings Manager. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
